The journey so far

From a first marketplace to synthetic data to a bet on AI safety: six chapters and two pivots, each documented as it happened.

  1. MonetizeNow decentralized data marketplace site on a laptop screen
    MonetizeNow · first venture

    It started with a marketplace

My first venture: a decentralised data marketplace inspired by Ocean Protocol, designed and shipped in four months. It taught me the whole loop, and one hard lesson: India was not yet into decentralisation or data tokenisation. The market was not ready.

  2. Receiving an oversized cheque on stage at the BRICS Youth Council Entrepreneurship Pre-Consultation
    BRICS Youth Council

    Best Startup Founder

That loop started winning: Best Startup Founder at the BRICS pre-consultation and PIWOT, plus national hackathons. Proof I could build things strangers believed in. But the marketplace lesson stuck: bet on the future underneath, which was data itself.

  3. Working from the BioNEST boardroom at IIT Guwahati Research Park
    TIDF BioNEST · IIT Guwahati

    Pivot one: synthetic data

Data scarcity, data privacy, broken test data: I bet synthetic data was the future answer. I took that bet to TIDF BioNEST, became the youngest founder ever incubated, and on 31 July 2025 Genuity IO became a Pvt Ltd company.

  4. Track Sponsor standee with the Genuity logo at Ethos, IIT Guwahati
    Ethos · IIT Guwahati

    Scaling in public

Then proof, in public: track sponsor at Ethos alongside JaneStreet and StemVibe, alpha-testing our time-series synthetic data library live through the Genuity × Ethos Kaggle competition.

  5. Founder in a Genuity shirt before Inter IIT Tech Meet Algorithmic Optimisation banners
    Inter-IIT Tech Meet 14.0

    The biggest student stage

Co-sponsored Inter-IIT Tech 14.0 alongside Adobe and ISRO, reaching 2,000 students across 23 IITs, while POCs with LTTS, Persistent, and Perfios proved the tech inside real enterprises. And across 200+ conversations there, a pattern emerged: everyone used synthetic data as internal testing fuel, frontier models made artificial data cheap at large scale, and nobody was checking if any of it was safe.

  6. Genuity Verify: the Physical AI verification engine
    Now · Physical AI researcher

    Pivot two: AI safety

That gap became my second pivot. Today I work part-time as a Physical AI researcher inside a $1.3B ER&D company, learning how robots really fail, and I am betting my next build on AI safety: the verification layer every robot will soon legally need.
